Installing Myra Canyon on Ubuntu is relatively easy:

Start with a 64-bit installation of a recent version of Ubuntu, such as v14.10.
Download the latest .deb from https://sourceforge.net/projects/myra-canyon/files/0.0.1/
Install the .deb file and any required missing dependencies:
sudo dpkg -i myra-canyon-0.0.1-xxx-linux-64.deb

sudo apt-get install -f

After Myra Canyon has been installed, the web-based interface can be viewed at http://127.0.0.1/.

Review the Configuration section, and then either reboot or manually run /usr/bin/myra-server.sh to start Myra Canyon.
